                                                                                 Ashland Town & County Taxes 2026

​TAKE NOTICE, that I, the undersigned, Collector of Taxes of the Town of Ashland, Greene County, New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the year 2026, I will receive taxes as follows: I or my Deputy will receive taxes on January 6th, 2026, 9AM- to 4PM Tuesday and Wednesday - Closed legal holidays. Check-and Money orders excepted, if you pay by cash, must be exact change. All payments made by mail, must be postmarked on or before the last day of the month, or addition fees must be applied. I am available by appointment if needed. You may contact me, by email: ashlandtownclerk@yahoo.com, or leave a message with our office 518-734-3636 so I can return your call.TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31,2026 without charge or interest. On taxes remaining unpaid and postmarked after January 31st, 2026, there shall be added (1%) one percent for February or the remainder thereof; (2%) two percent for March; (3%) three percent for April;(4%) four percent for May; (5%) five percent for June; (6%) six percent for July 31st; (7%) seven percent August, at which time, the return of unpaid taxes is made by the collector to the Greene County Treasurer Pursuant to Real Property Tax law.
