RESOLUTION #40
TOWN OF ASHLAND
TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION OF 2009
OCTOBER 13, 2009
At the Town Board meeting on October 13, 2009, Councilperson, Richard E. Tompkins offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.
To authorize the Supervisor to use $3,200.00
of Unappropriated Fund Balance to balance accounts in the General Fund for 2009 as per General Fund Resolution #10 of 2009.
Also, to adjust the budget, the Town Board has increased revenues in the Appropriated Fund Balance Account, and also increased the Appropriation Account for the expense in the amount mentioned above.
A motion to adopt this resolution was made by Councilperson, Robert C. Ferris and seconded by Councilperson, Wanda Partridge.

RESOLUTION #41
TOWN OF ASHLAND
TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION OF 2009
OCTOBER 13, 2009
PUBLIC WATER PROJECT
Town of Ashland, Greene County
At the Town Board meeting on October 13, 2009, Councilperson, Richard E. Tompkins offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.
WHEREAS; by resolution dated February 9, 2009, the Town Board sought lead agency status for a project to construct a new public water supply system (hereafter, the “Project”); and
WHEREAS; by resolution dated April 13, 2009, the Town Board designated itself as lead agency for this; and
WHEREAS; the Town has conducted a review as required by Article 8, Part 617 of the Environmental Conservation Law (SEQR); and
WHEREAS; based on this review, the Town determined no adverse environmental impacts would result from this Action and adopted a resolution for a Negative Declaration on March 3, 2009; and
WHEREAS; during development of the engineering plans and funding process, the Town determined that the Water District originally resolved on April 13, 2009 and subject to permissive referendum should be expanded; and
WHEREAS; the Town has considered whether adverse environmental impacts would result from this Action based on the reasoned elaboration provided in the Attachment to this resolution; and
WHEREAS; on September 14, 2009 the Town adopted a resolution to extend the Water District, said resolution subject to permissive referendum;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing;
- The Town finds that the Action will not result in adverse environmental impacts thus the attached Amended Negative Declaration shall be issued.
- The Supervisor will cause all involved agencies to be notified of this resolution.
- This resolution will take effect immediately.
