A Town Board Meeting was held at the Town Hall, 12094 Route 23, Ashland, New York on the 14th day of February 2011.

Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 5:02 pm.

BUILDING UPDATE
The Town has been paying for the propane to heat the poured walls, when in fact it’s in Gallo's construction contract; they feel that if Gallo had more forms the foundation would have been done already and that it’s in their contract to pay for it. The town board is going to dispute this at a later date. The board also received a change order # 9, for the hay and blankets; Supervisor Richard Tompkins would like a breakdown of the bill with hours of equipment use. When materials for the building cost more the cost of the bond will increase, it’s now at 2.8%. The board needs to make some decisions about the list that Fred handed out, of the inside of the building, he also gave them a drawing of the building with insulation, the list he gave was a partial list, not the whole building. As for the letter to Gallo about the color of the building, Fred has not sent it out yet. The completion of the building is shooting for April 24, 2011.

RESOLUTION #10
TOWN OF ASHLAND
TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION OF 2010
FEBRUARY 14, 2011
At the Town Board meeting on February 14, 2011 Councilman, Richard E. Tompkins offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.
To authorize the Town Supervisor to expend the remaining sum balance of $330,769.18 dollars from the General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance to balance accounts on the General Fund Resolution #10 of 2011.
In order to adjust the General Budget, the Town Board has increased revenues in the Appropriated Fund Balance Account, and also increased the Appropriation Account for the expense in the amount mentioned above.
A motion to adopt this resolution was made by Councilman, Martin D. Blanden and seconded by Councilman, James Lawrence.

Councilman Martin Blanden has requested the highway department to check and fix the back-up beeper on the back-hoe.
