                A Special Town Board Meeting was held at the Town Hall, 12094 Route 23, Ashland, New York on the 1st day of August 2008.

Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 5:40 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Transfer Funds

 TOWN OF ASHLAND

TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION OF 2008

AUGUST 1, 2008

At the Town Board meeting on August 1, 2008, Councilman, Richard E. Tompkins, offered the following resolution and moved its adoption.

To authorize the Town Supervisor to use the sum of $5,616.00 dollars from the General Fund 2007 Unappropriated Fund Balance into the General Fund expense account #1010499 Town Board Contr/Misc.

Said funds are to be used towards the bill received from Sherman Well Drilling which is of material and parts needed in regards to the Water Project.

In order to adjust the General Budget, the Town Board has increased revenues in the Appropriated Fund Balance Account, and also increased the Appropriation Account for the expense in the amount mentioned above.

A motion was offered from James Lawrence with a second from Wanda Partridge to adopt this resolution.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Councilman James Lawrence to pay the bills as written, seconded by Councilperson Wanda Partridge, motion was:

TOWN HALL ROOF OUT TO BID
A motion was made by Councilman James Lawrence to put the town hall roof out to bid, bidding to open on August 28, 2008 at 7:30 pm, seconded by Councilperson Wanda Partridge, motion was:
