TOWN OF ASHLAND Richard E. Tompkins, Town Supervisor Special Town Board Meeting A Special Town Board Meeting was held at the Town Hall, 11980 Route 23, Ashland, New York on the 30rd day of August. Present Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 3:38 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Board discussed the location of the sewer line that was put in down at the site of the Ashland Town Hall, 12094 route 23 that it is right up to the corner of the pavement of where the old building stood. This would not leave us any room to move the placement of the new building forward. The Town did not approve of this area, this would be wasted space. The board would like to know who is going to be responsible for paying to move the line. Supervisor Richard Tompkins is going to contact CWC and Lamont Engineers to make arrangements to have the sewer moved at no expense to the sewer district. MOTION-A motion was made by Councilman Martin Blanden to approve the moving of Lavery’s septic tank, seconded by Councilman Dennis Mattice, motion was: MOTION-A motion was made by Councilman Thomas Soule for Supervisor Richard Tompkins to sign the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Right-of-Way Certificate, seconded by Councilman James Lawrence, motion was: Next Special Town Board meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 3:30 pm. Motion was made by Councilman Martin Blanden to close the meeting at 5:10 pm.
