TOWN OF ASHLAND Richard E. Tompkins, Town Supervisor Special Town Board Meeting A special Town Board Meeting was held at the Town Hall, 11980 Route 23, Ashland, New York on the 28th day of May. Present
Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 11:36 am. Pledge of Allegiance RESOLUTION #17 TOWN OF ASHLAND TOWN BOARD RESOLUTION OF 2010 MAY 28, 2010 TOWN HALL FACILITY PROJECT INTENT TO DECLAIRE LEAD AGENCY UNDER SEQRA At the Town Board meeting on May 28, 2010, Councilman, Richard E. Tompkins WHEREAS; the Town of Ashland, Greene County, New York (hereinafter the “Town”) has established the public benefit to the Town residents of constructing a new Town Hall Facility; and WHEREAS; the actions of constructing a new town Hall facility are Unlisted Actions under the State environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), but must be subject to coordinated review due to requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development; and WHEREAS; Part I of the Long Environmental Assessment Form (Hereinafter “EAF”) has been completed by the Town’s Engineering consultant, Delaware Engineering, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ashland Town Board proposes to act as Lead Agency in the coordinated review of the construction of the Town Hall Facility and shall distribute the attached Notice of Intent, Part I of the EAF, and project description and map to all potentially involved and interested agencies. A motion to adopt this resolution was made by Councilman, Tom Soule and seconded by Councilman, James Lawrence. Motion Carried.
