PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing was held at the Town Hall, 12094 Route 23, Ashland, New York on the 18th day of July Richard Tompkins---------------------Supervisor James Lawrence-----------------------Councilman Martin Blanden------------------------Councilman Robert Ferris---------------------------Councilman Wanda Partridge-----------------------Councilperson Justine L Koehler----------------------Town Clerk
Attended by: Kenneth Ratjen, Robert Porecca, Lawrence Zinno, William G. Garcia, Milton Petrou, Edward Kaplan Esq., Lewis T Buckman, John Lindner, Roy Carlson, Thomas Soule, Thomas Lynch, Tom Dignam, Burdette Dewell and Sondra Clark. Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 3:10 PM. Supervisor Richard Tompkins started the meeting off by explaining the property that Milton Petrou owned on County Route 10 should not have been a minor subdivision but a major subdivision. When two or more properties are shared by the same corridor it then makes them an automatic major subdivision. The road should have been completed before any property was sold. Property owner Milton Petrou must make the road up to Town specs, and the minor subdivision must be made a major subdivision. Edward Kaplan would like to know if we can record this meeting, Supervisor Richard Tompkins said no, there is no recording device on the premises. Planning Board Chairperson Sondra Clark gave an update of events to the present time. Lawrence Zinno wanted to know if any of the board members had been up there. Lawrence, Ferris and Tompkins told him yes. Mr. Kaplan asked for a copy of the Town of Ashland’s subdivision Law, Supervisor Richard Tompkins will make sure he gets a copy. Milton Petrou did not have an engineer for this road. Ken Ratjen was told by Milton Petrou that he would repair the damage, this has not been done. Milton Petrou has not responded to the planning board in over a year.

PUBLIC HEARING Present Supervisor Richard Tompkins opened the meeting at 5:02 Pledge of Allegiance This property is a minor subdivision when it should be a major subdivision. Town of Ashland Engineer will go and see if there are any issues. The first 3 lots would be to grade and the last would be a driveway. Artie Coyle will give the planning board a report from engineer.
